Remember When We Thought CD-ROMs Were Everything?
Today, seeing one of these is almost comical. And some adults born before the year 2000, do not know what a CD-ROM is. Back in 1994 they were all the rage and could hold a ton of information. Eventually these, just like most things, were replaced with a smaller, faster version that could hold more data.
Microsoft Founder, Bill Gates, was fairly proud of the CD-ROM though, touting that it could hold a tremendous amount of data. Today, we save everything to the cloud, which is so vast, yet small – it is invisible. The times have certainly changed my friends.
