The Future of Warfare Is Virtual
Military drones come in two forms, massive, and operational for acts of war. Those are typically larger than the other kind, which can be subcompact as you see in this photograph. This is the pocket-sized FLIR Black Hornet, seen here, and it is the future of warfare/intelligence gathering.
The subcompact drone can capture HD photos and video, which can lend a great deal of insight into enemy territory and their plans. No longer do soldiers have to perform such risky missions because the Black Hornet can do it. Coming in at about the size of a cell phone – it weighs 33 grams.
