Stairs
We thought all the mistakes on this list were harmless, but we’re finding more and more of these silly mistakes can can actually be very dangerous. Whoever was responsible for placing the black tape on these stairs wasn’t aware of their function. They were doing what they were told to do, without ever realizing the purpose of this black tape – to mark the stairs.
Normally, the purpose of this black bar on stairs is to mark the first and last step and prevent people from tripping down. Now it looks as if there’s another stair – which isn’t there – and people might mistake the floor for a step and trip. We’re sure this was an honest mistake, and not a part of some elaborate evil plan, and yet somehow, it doesn’t make it better.
