I don’t think they know the meaning of ‘sale’

Someone once said that the word ‘sale’ automatically attracts interest, and even if the sale is meaningless (quite like this one), this word would still get people to buy the product, even if it’s something they don’t really want or need, and even if the sale is not really a sale at all. In case you wanted proof for that assumption, here you have it.

What amazes us most about this photo isn’t the sale-that-isn’t-even-a-sale, but the fact that this product seems to be completely out of the shelf – meaning customers actually bought this Gold Peak Sweet Tea, all because of the sale sign (probably). Also, we’re pretty mad about this non-sale of a sale. Who are they kidding?
