Now what?
There’s something about hotels room that immediately changes our state of mind and makes us happy and relaxed, in other words, it triggers our vacation mode. However, it seems as if this non-existent hotel room might have the exact opposite effect: instead of jolly and relaxed, we’d probably feel freaked out and confused.
This looks like the beginning of a horror movie: you arrive at the hotel and you’re given the key to room number 317, only to find out this room doesn’t exist. Do you think there’s no such thing as room 317, or that whoever put up this sign needs to work on their counting? The second option seems more palpable.
