The end of the road
This seems like an escalator ride we wouldn’t dare take, which seems like a win situation, since it would encourage people to take the stairs. Given that this wasn’t the original thought of whoever designed this escalator – they didn’t plan on people choosing the stairs instead, did they? – we can’t tell what’s going on here. How could such a blunder be authorized?
Perhaps the more pressing question is how come people ride it in the first place – can’t they see it leads to a dead end? And how to they get back down? Is it a kind of thing where only the fittest survive? Even in those extremely long escalators you see a light at the end, and here nothing. This might be the most dangerous mistake we’ve seen on the list.
