If they can clone a sheep, what’s stopping them from cloning a human? So goes this theory about human duplication. The basis is that we’ve known how to clone a sheep since 1996 and that cloning a human is not much different. While some people think it’s unethical to clone humans, others believe it could be extremely beneficial.

Those who subscribe to this theory assume that the government has already cloned a human and is observing that person as you read this article. Cloning a human comes with some complex moral considerations. But to their point, if cloning a human was successful, are you sure that you could recognize a clone from a real person if you came across one?
