#23 The Charcuterie Island
A kitchen island is supposed to be a place where you and your family can sit, have breakfast, and ignore each other while you use your phones, tablets, and laptops. The keywords here are “you and your family,” not “you all by your lonesome.”
The homeowners can finally relax knowing that they have created the perfect dining spot for ants and mice in their house, even though this island was designed for humans (probably). The good news is that the island is large enough to hold an entire charcuterie platter, so there’s that. It’s all about looking for the silver lining, no matter how small it appears.
