No checks, please
This place accepts almost anything but checks; seems legit. But seriously, though, can you think of any other place where they would accept horses, cattle or timber as payment? We’ve encountered some prehistoric businesses that only accept cash, somehow those places are still around, but accepting cattle as payment is not something you see everyday.
Texas, we try not to make too much fun of you, but this sign is really making it hard for us. We know that Texans have a special approach to horses – it’s not an uncommon sight to see a horse being operated as a car – but using cattle as payment is taking it to the next level. Of course, this is all said with humor – we love the Lone Star state!
