Almost all of the recent studies show that the second grade is the time in which we first develop our ability to experience petty thoughts, so it’s only natural that at that age, you feel the need to exercise them on your classmates. The only problem is that your spite really had no reason to be directed at this poor kid who was just a little bit shy. If you ask me, I think she probably should’ve gone straight in for the teacher.
