#5: First-Look Wedding Photos Before the Ceremony
Older wedding albums often preserve one particular expression: the groom watching the bride appear at the beginning of the aisle. For couples choosing a modern “first look,” that expression happens earlier and usually with far fewer witnesses. A photographer arranges for the couple to meet before the ceremony, often positioning one partner with his or her back turned until the other approaches. The resulting photographs capture the first reaction while giving the couple a few relatively private minutes together on a day that otherwise offers very little privacy.
