Plastic bag ban
Slowly but surely, we’re starting to learn just how harmful plastic is for the environment and the living creatures in it, and awareness around the world is slowly increasing. A number of cities around the country have even decided to take an active part in the battle against plastic waste and have decided to ban the use of plastic.
This is an important act, and it could go a long way in saving our planet, but it’s not quite as convincing when the newspaper printing this story is wrapped in plastic. How do you expect people to treat this restriction seriously, when the people in charge, those who are meant to set an example, aren’t taking it seriously?
