Dog training’s going well
We’re all familiar with the oldest excuse in the book, “the dog ate my homework,” but only dog owners know that our furry friends are capable of eating anything. In this case, the dog ate his own homework. It seems like quite an unfortunate coincidence that the dog should eat the Dog Training for Dummies book, but maybe it isn’t a coincidence at all.
Some dog breeds are surprisingly smart and perceptive, and so perhaps this dog knew what this book was. He knew this was a training book, and chewing it was his way of saying he disapproves of it, that he doesn’t need this training. Unfortunately, this proves the opposite – chewing on the book shows that he needs this training more than ever.
