This fan is taking his love for sports to the next level. While you see an irresponsible husband and father-to-be, we see a truly committed sports fan. For people who aren’t from his world, it’s hard to understand what it means supporting a sports team, so perhaps this photo helps to clarify some of this fog: for true sports fans, supporting their team is more important than anything else.
Nothing, not even the birth of their first child, will make them miss an important game. It’s almost impossible to understand when you’re not a sports fans, but for the devoted fans in the crowd, this seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. At least he left his wife this incredibly heartfelt note – this shouldn’t be taken for granted. All that’s left for us to do is congratulate him on the birth of his first child, and wonder whether or not this guy is still married.
