This guy should receive an award for the most witty sports sign, if they ever make one, although some fans might object to him laughing at his own team! However, the true sports fans are the ones who are able to laugh at their own team when they mess up, the ones that acknowledge there are ups and downs for everyone, but ultimately stick with the team through thick and thin.
As far as I’m concerned, he can write whatever funny banter he likes on this sign, as long as he sticks with his team and doesn’t leave when the going gets rough. Perhaps this is his own way of expressing his displeasure with the team, hoping that seeing their own crowd holding signs of this kind will only motivate them to push harder.
