This New York Rangers fan found a very endearing way to honor her favorite player, although he might not see it this way. Our dogs are our best friends, but this is a sentiment only dog owners share; while this girl thought she was making a nice gesture to Sean Avery, perhaps she shouldn’t have made this public announcement.
Hopefully, Avery is a dog owner, and he appreciates this gesture for what it really is – a heartwarming way to express her love and admiration for the great player. On the other hand, naming your dog after a player can also mean you don’t appreciate him too much. It’s all in the eyes of the beholder.
