Madden’s mom, Christina Humphreys, belongs to a support group for parents of children with cleft lips. A friend in the group posted a picture of a cat named Moon. Moon had two uncanny similarities to Madden–he also had a cleft lip and heterochromia iridum! Christina knew they had to add Moon to their family.
