#15: Mister Robinson’s Neighborhood, Debuted in 1981
Eddie Murphy is probably considered one of the most famous actors out of Saturday Night Live. Having appeared in 65 episodes, it is safe to say he has had many iconic moments over the years. But we think his “Mister Robinson’s Neighborhood” skits were some of his best work.

The skit was a clear parody of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, starring Fred Rogers. However, instead of teaching children life lessons through different means, Mr. Robinson was a criminal who taught children how to get away with certain crimes. This much-loved character even returned in 2020, and it was a very welcome throwback to a complicated character.
