Kim Kardashian’s engagement ring is proof that before the couple decided to go minimalist and emptied their house from every piece of furniture, they were the most extravagant couple in Hollywood. Not that we really needed any proof of that. Not even the Duchess of Cambridge can compete with Kim’s twenty-carat emerald cut diamond ring, estimated at $5 million.
Kanye West’s proposal came in bad timing though, a few short months after Kim declared that material things don’t mean much to her anymore and decided to swear off jewelry. Showing up with this sparkler only a couple of months later doesn’t look good, but who can turn down a ring like that? Anyway, this isn’t just any jewelry – after all, it’s a symbol of the happy couple’s lasting love.
