The Top 20 Most-Watched Events in Television History

Just like with Live Aid, The Wall – Live in Berlin was a concert fundraiser with a lot of star guest artists. All of these acts performed Pink Floyd’s album titled “The Wall.” The concert on July 21, 1990, was watched on TV by over 500 million people, but 350,000 people saw the show in person. Among the performers were Cyndi Lauper, Joni Mitchell, Sinéad O’Connor, Roger Waters, and Van Morrison.  Through their performance, they raised over $1 million for the Memorial Fund for Disaster Relief.
