The 1964 World’s Fair predictions that were right

The fair celebrated synthetic materials, predicting everything from homes to clothing would be made from lab-created fibers. In the present, these synthetic polymers are present in many aspects of our lives (not only sports apparel, but also medical implants). Even the DuPont Pavilion had a musical extolling the virtues of “Corfam,” a synthetic leather that was meant to supplant real leather.
