The 1964 World’s Fair predictions that were right

The fair featured “electronic identification” concepts, including access control by hand scans and voice prints. One exhibit from the fair was a big hit with young audiences: a “Secret Agent” locker that opened with a unique voice code. Biometric authentication methods such as FaceID and fingerprint sensors now dominate security in our devices in 2026.
