All Is Not Well
This person sent a text on Halloween, but even though it’s a few months late, it’s still relevant to the topic. The original texter wished the recipient a Happy Halloween and hoped that everything was going swimmingly in their life. Unfortunately, not everything was going swimmingly. In fact, things were the opposite of swimmingly.
Apparently, the recipient’s sister’s ex-dog just died. Do people really refer to their deceased pets as ex-pets? That’s new to us. Everyone we know who had a dog or cat would always refer to them by name and without the ex label. This is so strange on so many levels.
