#40: Keeping Busy
We like to imagine that being a teacher is this noble profession where you teach kids really important stuff, right? I mean, okay, you also teach them stuff that might not seem quite so important, such as the names of all the kings of England, but you hope you’re teaching them about hard work or being kind or the importance of honesty as well.
But maybe, when you’re a teacher, you’re just teaching your students lessons that are a little less lofty but still very useful—like how to appear to be busy when you are really not. From my experiences in the working world, I can confirm that this is a vital life skill.
