#29: Rule Breakers
When I was younger, I always thought that all teachers were sticklers for the rules and that they enforced these rules because they genuinely believed in them and thought that they should be obeyed. After all, they were the ones always scolding people who broke them.
But what I’ve learned from reading all of these confessions is that a lot of teachers don’t particularly care about the rules for the rules’ sake; they just don’t want to endanger their own standing at the school by letting the students get away with stuff. So maybe go easy on your teachers. They might be just as trapped by school policies as you are.
