#2: Terrible Truths about Teachers
Here’s one that would have broken my little heart if I had known it back in school. I’m not good at everything academically, but I’ve always been a good writer; this article may or may not be convincing you of that, but I assure you, that was where I excelled in school. And I always put a lot of effort into my essays.
So if I knew that—and many of my teacher friends have confirmed this—a lot of teachers don’t have time to read every single piece of homework that gets handed in, I think my little 12-year-old heart would genuinely have been broken. I bet a lot of other people, though, are relieved and thinking, “Ah, so that’s why I passed 10th-grade English.”
