#6: Some Like It Hot
I lucked out in that I never had to go to a school without proper air conditioning or with other facilities problems. Well, there was the fact that sometimes pieces of the ceiling of my high school would fall out and nearly hit students, but other than that, my schools were fairly functional.
But that is clearly not the case for everyone. I genuinely don’t see how a government-sponsored entity is allowed just to force people to work and learn in 97-degree weather. Doesn’t that qualify as cruel and unusual punishment? If I had been a student there, I think I would have rioted.
