Old money is worth much more than the pocket change under the couch cushions. I mean, have you ever heard of inflation? Prices have gone up, and old money has gone down in value. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth anything. An old penny might be worth a lot more than just a penny.

For example, a 1943 Lincoln penny made of steel is worth more than $100,000. But before digging through your attic, remember that just because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s valuable. It’s probably not worth much more than the nostalgia it brings you – and the memories of a simpler life.
