#50: We’re Practically Related
When it comes to dinosaurs, it is almost too confusing to even try and comprehend a time when they roamed and ruled the earth because we have never seen one in the flesh. But considering that dinosaurs were around for about 165 million years, and the modern species of humans have only been around for 200,000 years, it is safe to say that they win.
All dinosaurs seem like they existed in the same periods as one another, but that isn’t the story with the Stegosaurus and the T-Rex. The Stegosaurus had already been extinct for around 80-90 million years before the first appearance of the T-Rex. Human beings and the T-Rex are separated by 65.5 million years, which means we lived much closer in time to them.
