Malin Åkerman as Silk Spectre II
We told you we’d talk about the younger version of Silk Spectre. Silk Spectre II was played by the Swedish actress Malin Åkerman who is mainly known for her roles in Rampage and Children’s Hospital. However, she wanted to break out of action and comedy, so she gave hero movies a try.
Sadly, Watchmen wasn’t as lucrative or as attractive as the more modern superhero movies in theaters. As such, she didn’t get the superhero treatment other actors on this list got. However, she did do a stellar role in portraying the younger version of Silk Spectre and showed us what it was like to live in a dystopian reality following an alternate ending of the Cold War.
