Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow
One of the greatest things about superheroes making appearances across multiple films and franchises is that we get to see the character develop in almost real-time. This is especially true for Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff—a.k.a. Black Widow.
Scarlett would make her first MCU appearance in 2010’s Iron Man 2. Fast-forward 11 years and the world got to see Black Widow in her own movie. From the beginning, she was already in talks with Marvel Studios to release her own movie. It was a commercial success, though it paled in comparison to many of her co-star’s individual movies.
