The Gary Oldman Updo
Some haircuts have an iconic status in cinema. The cut and characteristics of Gary Oldman’s Do in Bram Stoker’s Dracula certainly do. Just like Dr. Frankenstein built his monster out of body parts he robbed from the cemetery, stylists created Oldman’s ominous updo, out of two singers and a movie princess.
Can you guess who the stylists used for inspiration? I’ll give you a hint. Elvis Presley, (the Bouffant), Amy Winehouse, (the Beehive), and Princess Leia (the Double Buns), from Star Wars.
