It Really Do Be Like That
We’re not sure what to think here. On the one hand, we’re totally for raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour. On the other hand, we can’t ignore the fact that since employers will have to shell out more money to pay their workers, they’ll only end up cutting the workers’ total weekly hours.
So, where’s the compromise? Do people have to be thankful for making more while working less, or should they stick to the unfair status quo? Thankfully, more and more companies are hopping aboard the $15/hour standard, so maybe we don’t have to think about reduced work hours.
