Blood Related But Not Their Characters
Dennis Lawson (left) and Ewan McGregor (right) are the only actors to be blood relatives and also play prominent characters in both the original and recent trilogies of the Star Wars films. In the original trilogy, Ewan McGregor played the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi, while Dennis Lawson played the role of Wedge Antilles in the first three films of the new trilogy.

In the television interviews, aside from showcasing his lightsaber-wielding skills using prop items worth over $200, Ewan McGregor has also told the media that he almost rejected the offer of playing the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Fortunately, his uncle, Dennis Lawson, convinced him otherwise. Looking up to his uncle as his own hero, McGregor accepted the part and had no regrets thereafter.
