Lost Without Technology
We live in times of remarkable human evolution and technological advancement; regardless of where we think we are standing compared to one hundred years ago or a thousand, we are still attached to our tools as much as cave dwellers were attached and entirely dependent on them to survive another day. I mean, we have iPhones that we think are amazing and advanced, but the second we don’t have wi-fi, they sort of feel unusable, and boredom kicks in with a dose of why am I still refreshing my feed every minute?
Where is our technology addiction taking us to? We cannot live with a few hours of no Facebook, no Instagram, no Twitter, no TikTok, no Whatsapp… Is this really what we have become? Dependent people. All our lives are inside a tiny device we carry in our hands and pockets, and we cannot control the addiction. It’s like candy for a child. Just look at Yeong-Su Oh’s face.
