#8: Chessboxing Amateur World Championship
This competition might be our favorite: it is a weird but natural hybrid of chess and boxing. All jokes aside, it does seem like a challenging feat to accomplish. You have to be mentally and physically present at all times. Players are divided into 11 three-minute rounds of boxing and chess that go alternately.

The word “amateur” in front of any competition should indicate hilarious moments during the matches because many people don’t actually know what they’re doing. Since it is a relatively new sport, there are only 11 member countries: Russia, Germany, India, Iran, the USA, Finland, France, and Italy. Over 150 fighters come from these countries.
