#17: The Tunarama Festival
Another one of the classiest festivals from the Down Under: the Tunarama Festival, held in Port Lincoln every January. The competition rules are simple: how far can someone chuck a frozen tuna? It must excite us to find out, but we’re seriously questioning the psychological reasons behind throwing food around.
We’re happy to know that people no longer use real tuna because of their dwindling numbers, and it is better not to mess with living beings in such a manner. The event is amped up with different art display stalls lined at the entrance and seafood stalls so that any pescatarian will have the time of their life going to one of these festivals. This event attracts plenty of foodies and helps in community building.
