#12: Put It on My Tab

Tab was the original Diet Coke, introduced in 1963. In 1982, Coca-Cola introduced Diet Coke. The main difference between the two sodas was that Tab used saccharin, and Diet Coke used aspartame. After Diet Coke, Tab started being scaled back, but it stayed around for a while, even having an energy drink variant. The COVID-19 pandemic is what finally did Tab in.

In the years since, fans have demanded that Coca-Cola bring the tab back, even buying billboard space to send the company a message. Personally, I don’t know why Diet Coke took over. Tab was better. Bring it back!
