#27: Astro Pops
Astro Pops were rocket-shaped hard candy introduced in 1963 and popular from the 60s and well into the 90s. This three-color lollipop was marketed as a “fat-free” food, a major concern in that time, but the thing is, it was basically 100% sugar and artificial flavoring, which isn’t better than fat. Either way, kids loved this lollipop which turned transparent as you enjoyed it.
