Don’t you hate it when people call you out of the blue? You could send them to voicemail, but if you’re curious to hear what they have to say, you might as well pick up. And when you grow tired of the person on the other line, you can just hang up on them.
However, to hang up on them without coming off as a total jerk, hang up the phone while you’re talking before turning your phone off. They won’t think that you intentionally hung up on yourself, so they’ll come to the conclusion that your phone’s battery died or something.
