We’ve heard hundreds, if not thousands, of cases of Karens yelling at customer service. There’s no reason to raise your voice at someone who’s trying to help you, especially when you can’t fix the problem on your own. So, please, do not be a Karen. Complaining is one thing, but shouting because things aren’t going your way is another story.
In fact, when you speak to customer service, put on your extra-kind smile and say your pleases and thank yous. You’d be surprised by how far you can get if you treat other people like human beings. So, we repeat, do not be a Karen for any reason.
