Butter Grater
Here’s another hack for the home cooks out there. What do you do to a block of butter that has been in the fridge for the last year or so? Well, you should probably toss it out since spoiled butter is disgusting. But what if the block of butter is fresh but as hard as concrete? Do you wait for it to soften?
You could, or you could grate it with a cheese grater. Breaking the butter into tiny, manageable pieces will make the butter soften more quickly. Plus, you can even spread grated butter without it tearing your bread to shreds.
