Sometimes people slide, shake or shuffle the ladder to move it to a particular position, but this man here is taking another route entirely, which is obviously very dangerous. He bent the ladder over to fix the job instead of climbing down, moving the ladder to the desired spot, and moving back up.

He probably thought climbing all the way down and then back up would consume too much time. This is one of the reasons why people fall from ladders. We can’t begin to imagine him falling from that height. Once again we ask, is it worth it to put your life in danger only to save a couple of minutes?
