No Cake for Me, No Cake for You
If someone follows a specific diet, it makes sense for us to make a few sacrifices to accommodate them. For instance, if you want to hang out with a vegan friend, try finding a vegan café or restaurant. It won’t kill you to miss one meal with meat, will it?
But why is it that when the tables are turned, the other person won’t reciprocate? In this story, because the lactose-intolerant person failed at making a cake, they decided that nobody would have cake at the potluck. So, not only did this person break their promise, but everyone else had to suffer because of it. We want cake!
