Paternal Instincts?
There comes a time in a parent’s life when they must let their kids be themselves and live their lives in whatever way they choose. Overbearing parents can cause all sorts of problems for their kids while growing up, and while parents often mean well, sometimes they can push things to the extreme.
Take this picture for example. You’d think that this father would respect his daughter’s boundaries, especially since she’s engaged to someone! What makes the whole thing worse, is that he’s acting like some kind of a bodyguard by keeping a weapon on display to try and scare both his daughter and her fiancé. We wouldn’t be surprised if both of them choose never to visit her parents again.
