Thanksgiving is one of the times in the year when you can bring together the whole family for some quality time alongside a nice meal. Of course, this can sometimes mean going a bit overboard with grocery shopping.

It’s common practice to ask the people that are coming over for dinner to bring a dish. What’s bizarre is asking them to pay for the food in cash. Isn’t a family dinner supposed to be a tender moment between people that care about each other? Since when did it become like a restaurant where people pay for their food?
