Closed Due To Maintenance Or…
Have you ever experienced lining up to get into a particular ride at a theme park only to see, so close to the head of the line, a “closed for maintenance” sign being put up? It doesn’t happen often – Disneyland and similar places usually schedule maintenance after they close for the day. But when does it happen during park hours? The reason behind it may be more ominous than you think.
Despite all the safety precautions in place, accidents may still happen. A guest could fall from the ride, someone working maintenance gets injured on the job, or someone might try something worse. When that happens, cast members immediately stop the ride and close it off for the rest of the day so that they can clear the area of the emergency. Disney has to keep the magic, and instances like these are kept super hushed.
