#38: How Quickly Things Change
I was in high school and college at a time when home computers were ubiquitous but very few people had a laptop. So if you wanted to get started on your research paper while you were at school, you had to go to the computer lab. There were literally hundreds of computers at my university, scattered across campus.

But everything is different now that everyone has their own laptop. I was at my alma mater recently and was amused to walk through the library and see rooms still filled with computers, all but empty. I hope they can find somewhere to donate all of those computers.
