#30: If You Can Dodge a Wrench, You Can Dodge a Ball
A lot of schools have moved away from playing dodgeball in PE, and I can see why: there’s the potential for a lot of pain and injury when you have kids hucking rubber balls at each other at high speeds. I am sure the number of kids who get hit in the face is not small.

Personally, though, I kind of liked playing dodgeball. I was terrible at throwing, but I was good at dodging, and I usually lasted out there for a while because no one perceived me as a threat. And once I did get out, I just got to stand on the sidelines and talk to my friends. What’s not to like?
