Years of Experience Doesn’t Necessarily Equate to Skills
When employers search for employees for their job vacancies, they usually take their years of experience into consideration. Normally, it would be assumed that those that have worked longer in the field already have more skills compared to the fresh graduates that aspire to be in the field as well. That is why most companies include past experiences in their requirements.
One of the most common misconceptions about work is that the longer years you had in the field, the more skillful you are. But, why would you even require someone to have 4+ years of experience in a web framework that was only created not more than 2 years ago? Even the creator of FastAPI can’t apply there!
